Centre for Voluntary Sector Leadership Annual Conference 2023
On 25 May 2023, Dr Fidèle Mutwarasibo, Director of the Centre for Voluntary Sector Leadership (CVSL), convened the Centre's annual conference. With over 190 registered guests, this year we discussed 'Voluntary sector organisations’ resilience and response to the rise in cost of living'. Session 1: Impact on Voluntary Sector Organisations
In this session, Dr Carol Jacklin-Jarvis from The Open University is joined by our keynote speakers, Paul Streets, CEO, Lloyds Bank Foundation and Ed Mayo, CEO, Pilotlight.
Session Two: Impact on Communities
This session is chaired by Dr Fidèle Mutwarasibo and included presentations from Thomas Lawson, CEO, Turn2Us, Kaveed Ali, Chief Operating Officer, UK Community Foundations and Binita Morjaria, Lead Black and Minoritised Communities Advisor and Rani Kaur from MK-Act Domestic Abuse Intervention Services.
