Terry first encountered the OU as an Associate Lecturer (or tutor as we were known in those days) in 1991, becoming a central academic in 2002. He’s chaired a number of popular courses in production and presentation, most recently B206 Understanding Customers, which was heavily influenced by his previous work on MOOCs. He has also studied with the OU, and is the proud owner of a Masters in Social Research Methods (Open). His most recent book Business Networking: Innovation and Ideas in Theory and Practice, co-authored with his wife Dr Catherine O’Sullivan of Leeds Medical School, was published by Routledge in 2022.
