Financialisation: in search of some much-needed coherence in its operationalisation and in future empirical research

Thu, 23 May 2019, 10:00 to 17:45

FutureLearn, 1-11 Hawley Crescent, Camden Town, London NW1 8NP.

Mentions of financialisation have increased dramatically since 2008, within both the academic literatures and the mainstream press. However, what has been largely lacking to date is agreement as to what financialisation actually is, something to be addressed in this workshop, focusing largely on the non-financial corporation (NFC).

As discussion of financialisation has spread across many academic disciplines, this is reflected in our exciting line-up of speakers, below.  We welcome participants with interest in financialisation to join us.  To attend please register via Eventbrite. Look forward to seeing you there.
