Our Outcome Agreement

Read about our Outcome Agreement with the Department for the Economy

Starting with the academic year 2024/2025, Outcome Agreements have now been established between the Department for the Economy and each of the three universities in Northern Ireland.  The Open University’s Outcome Agreement shows the broad range of work we do in Northern Ireland, and how it aligns with the strategic goals of the Minister and the Department. By tracking progress on the actions in our Agreement, we will demonstrate how public funding is being used to tackle key challenges in public policy with a positive impact on society.

We hope future Agreements will evolve through a collaborative, co-design process between the sector, the Department, the Minister and wider society, building on the lessons learned and creating a story of progress towards shared goals.
