The Open University is offering a Knowledge Transfer Voucher scheme to SMEs, charities and third sector organisations across Northern Ireland.
Knowledge Transfer Vouchers provide funding of between £5K - £10K for organisations to partner with The Open University to solve challenges faced, identify opportunities for further collaboration and develop lasting partnerships with the University.
Imelda Haran, Knowledge Exchange Manager for The Open University in Ireland, explains; “These vouchers can be a lifeline for local organisations who need the expertise of the university to solve particular challenges or opportunities which they are currently facing or see in the horizon. The Open University has expertise in a range of areas that could really benefit local organisations at this time. It is hoped that such projects will provide insight, develop new processes or provide proof-of-concept to help the organisation solve a pressing problem, innovate and grow.”
Projects should tackle a challenge the organisation is facing that can only be solved using university specialist knowledge or expertise.
