This Christmas be spirited away to a magical wonderland at Waddesdon. The Manor and grounds will once again come alive with new displays and decorations to surprise and delight you and your family, for the most enchanting Christmas experience.

Inspired by the tale of Sleeping Beauty, Waddesdon is set to be transformed for a magical festive experience. Enjoy beautifully decorated interiors, new light projections on the Manor façade, a glittering light trail in the gardens and the return of the ever-popular Christmas market.

Taking a set of paintings by Russian designer Léon Bakst of the Sleeping Beauty story as inspiration, this much-loved fairytale is bought to life in the House. One of this year’s highlights is an installation by theatre designer Tom Piper MBE, in the White Drawing Room, responding to the Bakst paintings.

Outdoor Light Trail and Illuminations

Outside, experience the architecture and setting as never before as the Sleeping Beauty story is celebrated with projections on the Manor façade.

Through the grounds the spectacular landscape is transformed into a kaleidoscope of colour, lights and music.

Our popular Christmas Fair is also back, guaranteeing a festive shopping experience that’s not to be missed. Revel in the sights, scents and sounds of Christmas as you wander amongst specially selected artisan stalls, housed in charming wooden chalets.
