Continuing Water Crisis: Rohingya Camps in Bangladesh, June 2021

This film offers a unique view from inside several Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh where access to water is an urgent climate justice issue. It was co-created using footage video, audio and text messages sent via WhatsApp. It offers a poignant and moving account of the enduring water crises experienced in these camps. It is a heartfelt plea for the UNHCR and the international community to take water matters much more seriously, to prevent deaths from drinking and bathing in polluted water, and to install long-awaited safe water systems. Thanks to Mohammed Zobair who works tirelessly to help families and communities in these camps and Tom Cheesman (from Swansea Asylum Seekers Support in Swansea, Wales, UK) for this revealing film that opens our eyes to conditions inside camps.
