Refugees as experts in international relations

Ben O’Loughlin, Professor of International Relations at Royal Holloway, University of London, talks to Professor Marie Gillespie from The Open University about what political scientists can contribute to making sense of international relations under Covid. He argues that de facto refugees are already experts in international relations and that in the Unlocked Archive exhibition, refugees draw attention to experiences that are often invisible from government and political discourse.
