Taking footballs to school: a Zimbabwean refugee returns home

In 2019, just before lockdown, Zimbabwean refugee Israel Ncube, returned to his primary school in Matebeleland North, taking footballs as a small gift. He found that there had been no developments in the school and indeed the footballs meant a lot to the school and its children. Israel is now seeking to raise money to support the school. As he says, if things don’t improve then there will be no future for those communities and their children.
