In this session, we will provide an overview of The Open University approval procedures that are required when conducting a scholarship project.  These processes can often feel daunting, especially for those new to scholarly research. Therefore, we will guide you through the procedures and the factors you need to consider when submitting an application.

• The Student Research Project Panel (SRPP) application process

• The Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) review process

• The correct procedure for storing and handling data – Data Protection
