An introductory session to ORO, the institutional repository of the Open University. This session will cover the basics of using ORO: what can be added to ORO, how to access ORO, how to add items to ORO and keep it up to date.
Learning Objectives
An understanding of ORO functionality.
Know how to upload items to ORO and update them.
An understanding of how you can use ORO to increase the dissemination of scholarship outputs.

About the facilitator
Chris Biggs manages ORO on a day to day basis, is particularly interested in the role repositories have in the scholarly communications infrastructure. Chris also provides general advice on Open Access publishing.
