Centre for Scholarship and Innovation
The impact of scholarship implies demonstrable benefits to learning and teaching that are directly attributable to a scholarship project. In this workshop, we will discuss why impact matters for student outcomes and experience, career progression of educators, and for the reputation of the institution. We will discuss the key values and strategies that can help guide scholarship practice for possible impact. You will learn how to apply the Impact Evaluation Framework (IEF) to guide the planning for impact of new and ongoing scholarship projects, and for retrospective impact evaluation of completed projects.
