eSTEeM Connect and Discuss SoTL projects “speed dating” style

Are you involved in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), or would you like to be involved? Would you like to meet like-minded people across the OU STEM Faculty, share ideas, potentially create new scholarship groups? Do you have a scholarship idea and want to see what others think about it? Have you just completed an eSTEeM project and are wondering what to do next? Do you just like to talk about scholarship?

If the answer is yes to any of these questions, then join us for the 3rd eSTEeM speed dating event.

Registration is open to OU colleagues, please complete the registration form by 17.00 on Monday 16th November and we will send you a MS Teams meeting invite shortly before the event.

“Speed dating” – how does it work?

The event will be held in MS Teams, initially all attendees will arrive in the main room. We will then randomly allocate you into a breakout room with two or three other attendees, where you can introduce yourself and talk about the scholarship work you are doing or would like to do, have a general chat and get to know each other. After 15 minutes all groups will return to the main room and be reallocated into different random groups for the next 15 minutes (and so on). By the end of the session, we hope you will have had the chance to get to know (or know better) other members of staff and have insight into what they are doing or would like to do.
