eSTEeM is a joint Science and MCT Faculty initiative that will help us to shift what we do and how we do it, opening up new markets and new income streams and providing fresh challenges in scholarship.

The idea of eSTEeM is to connect strategy and Faculty expertise to innovate in STEM areas. eSTEeM will be outward facing and will help us to build new active partnerships in the UK and overseas.

There are three facets to eSTEeM

  • the themes i.e. employment, international, engagement and entrepreneurial;
  • the teaching and learning issues e.g. assessment, practice based learning, communities, etc; and
  • the opportunity for professional development through working on supported projects with scholarly outputs.

eSTEeM is an opportunity to make your enthusiasm count …

Come along and hear about how eSTEeM will be organised and how you can get involved. Refreshments will be provided from 9.15. Please confirm your attendance by emailing your details to Diane Ford at esteem@open.ac.uk by 11th October 2010.

*** Please also drop-in to the eSTEeM hotdesk area on 1st Floor East Perry between 14:00 - 16:00 on the 14th October to follow up on any immediate questions or ideas you may have.***
