Jennie Lee Labs Tour/Demo

9:30 - 10:15 / 10:15 - 11:00*, Jennie Lee Building

Attendees are invited to discover the potential of the Jennie Lee Labs for evaluation of their scholarship projects. Learn about the testing activities available, such as the eye tracking services, and view the different labs and their facilities.

*Please note: depending on demand, we plan to run two tours as the labs are only able to cater for small groups at a time. Therefore, allocation will be on a first come first serve basis. We may repeat the tour again in 2012.

Analyse your Data

Anne Adams, IET

13:30 - 15:30, Meeting Room 8, 1st Floor, East Perry Building

Following on from the ‘Getting Started with Qualitative Data Collection and Analysis’ workshop on 29th June 2011, this workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to concentrate on their own data (so bring your data along) with several hands-on sessions where we can all collectively have a go at analysing each others data.

There will be a quick recap on the previous two workshops: ‘Methodologies to support your scholarship research’ and ‘Getting Started with Qualitative Data Collection and Analysis’ with some top tips provided.

Refreshments will be provided. Please confirm your attendance to the tour and/or workshop by emailing your details to Diane Ford at esteem@open.ac.uk by the 23rd September 2011.
