eSTEeM Connect and Discuss Speed Dating Event

Are you involved in the scholarship of teaching and learning (SOTL), or would you like to be involved? Would you like to meet like-minded people across the STEM Faculty, share ideas and make new connections? If the answer to both questions is yes, then join us for the inaugural eSTEeM speed dating event.

“Speed dating” – how does it work?

The event will be held in MS Teams, initially all attendees will arrive in the main room. We will then randomly allocate you into a breakout room with two or three other attendees, where you can introduce yourself and talk about the scholarship work you are doing or would like to do, have a general chat and get to know each other. After 15 minutes all groups will return to the main room and be reallocated into different random groups for the next 15 minutes (and so on). By the end of the session, we hope you will have had the chance to get to know (or know better) other members of staff and have insight into what they are doing or would like to do.

Registration

This event is open to OU STEM colleagues. To register please complete the registration form by Monday 23rd October. An MS Teams meeting invite for the event will then be sent to you during the week ending Friday 27th October.
