The Open University in Scotland is proud to host Landmarks Organ Recital at the Being Human Festival 2024.
Come along and listen to this light-Classics recital on the famous Kelvingrove Art Gallery organ. Using the theme of this year's Being Human Festival, you'll hear music celebrating 'landmarks'. Will you recognise the ‘landmark’ locations, historical events, and family celebrations in the programme?
More information available via the Being Human Festival events page. Tickets are not required for this event.
The Being Human Festival is led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, with generous support from Research England, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy. For further information, please see beinghumanfestival.org.
We offer a wide range of courses on music history and theory on our free learning platform, OpenLearn, from Understanding musical scores to Introduction to music theory.
