A new book by OU experts has had over 2,300 chapter downloads within only a couple of months.
It will be of interest to anyone who wants to teach online and keep up to date with the latest methods and technologies for teaching through distance learning.
'Creativity and Critique in Online Learning: Exploring and Examining Innovations in Online Pedagogy', was edited by George Callaghan (pictured), Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Nations Champion for Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland in the OU’s Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, and OU Senior Lecturers Jacqueline Baxter and Jean McAvoy.
All of the authors who contributed to the book are from The Open University, teaching across the UK.
It is available to download in chapters or in full, or to order as a hard copy. Chapters include ‘Facebook and Informal Learning’ and ‘The Challenges of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCS)’.
The book was published in September by Palgrave Macmillan and is included in their 'Cyber Monday Sale' from 19 to 26 November 2018.
