A panel of experts from The Open University and Scottish Artificial Intelligence (AI) Alliance discuss worries, excitement and confusion around Generative AI, and how it might affect the world.
Artificial Intelligence will solve all our problems. Artificial Intelligence will take away all of our jobs. Which is it? And what is it, anyway?
Join a team of AI researchers from the Open University to explore recent developments in "Generative AI", covering what it is and what it can do, how it's being used in education and research, and reasons to be cautious, or optimistic, about it.
Interactive lectures will be followed by discussion and Q&A with Prof. John Domingue, Dr. Aisling Third, and Dr. David Pride, of the OU's Knowledge Media Institute, as well as Gordon Johnstone from the Scottish AI Alliance.
Reserve your free spot on the Eventbrite page.
You can read more about the latest developments in AI at the OU and beyond, in a blog by one of the event speakers, Prof. John Domingue.
