Funded Postgraduate Places Available for 2018/2019 – Apply Now

Fully funded places are on offer to prospective learners resident in Scotland for a wide range of Open University (OU) postgraduate modules.

OU study is flexible, designed to fit around your life; you can study where, how and when you want.

If you have an undergraduate qualification and are thinking about postgraduate study this is a great time to start. Studying a postgraduate module could be your first step towards a postgraduate qualification, such as a certificate, diploma or degree.

The funded places are across a broad range of subject areas including technology and science, such as Managing technological innovation and Introduction to mental health science.

Once you have chosen your module, you will need to submit an online expression of interest by the module's closing date, detailing how you meet the application criteria.

It doesn’t matter how much you earn, as eligibility is not dependant on income. The application criteria includes Scotland residency, relevant undergraduate qualifications or relevant industry/professional experience, and proficiency in the English language. Some modules have other specific entry requirements.

The modules have different start dates: November 2018, January 2019 or May 2019.

Please see our webpage Funded Postgraduate Places 2018/2019 for more information, including the list of modules, the application criteria and deadlines, and the link to apply.

The application deadline for modules starting in November is 7 September 2018 – apply now.

(If you would like to study an undergraduate course instead and you have a personal income of £25,000 or less, you may be eligible to study for free with a Part-Time Fee Grant.)
