Open Learning and the Third Sector - Workshop

Dates
Tuesday, November 20, 2018 - 09:45 to 13:00
Location
The Open University in Scotland, 10 Drumsheugh Gardens, Edinburgh EH3 7QJ

Are you keen to find out more about the opportunities that The Open University can offer you, volunteers, staff, clients or learners?

This free workshop is for anyone working in the third sector. It will introduce the range of free online learning available across the OU's platforms: OpenLearn, Create and FutureLearn, including resources specifically for the third sector.

It will explore ideas for using the resources in your learning and development context, with case studies from other third sector organisations, and plenty of hands on practice.  It will also cover format study and funding options.

The aim of this workshop is to give you an overview of what's available, to help you feel confident using the resources, and for you to leave with ideas for using them in your practice.

Participants will receive an Open Learning Champions certificate for attending.

If you would like to attend you can register for free at Open Learning and the Third Sector Workshop. Refreshments will be provided.

You can find out more about Open Learning Champions and OpenLearn, with our range of free learning materials such as Open Pathways to Higher Education.
