The Open University in Scotland is pleased to support the Stitches and Stories event at Glasgow Women's Library's annual writing festival for women, Open the Door.
In this creative writing workshop, an informal mixture of writing exercises, discussion and reminiscing will help ideas on their journey from your imagination to the page.
Inspiration will be taken from the Library’s knitting pattern collection to learn about creating memorable characters and developing stories.
This beginner-friendly workshop is led by award-winning Heather Richardson, a published writer and OU Creative Writing Senior Lecturer.
Ticket booking and more info is available on the Glasgow Women's Library website. Booking is open until Wednesday 19 May.
