The Graduate Certificate in Public Health comprises one 60 credit module and provides learners with a sound and critical understanding of public health, health promotion and health security. 

Throughout the course, learners will be empowered to critically evaluate policies and encouraged to challenge their own assumptions. Public health: health promotion and health security (K310) will play a central role in revealing insights into the ways in which social determinants impact on the health and wellbeing of diverse social groups.

The Graduate Certificate in Public Health meets all the knowledge and understanding standards for Practitioner registration with the United Kingdom Public Health Register (UKHPR). Newly updated course material also includes the theory and practice of health protection and health security, including exploration of the Covid-19 pandemic.
