We are OpenSpace Research Centre and we are committed to thinking spatially in search of more hopeful, more just futures.
Established in 2009—with our home in Geography & Environmental Studies at the Open University—we work across disciplinary and national boundaries forging connections between the many social, environmental and economic issues, tensions, movements and crises transforming the world around us.
Buidling on our intellectual, cultural and political inheritances at the Open Univeristy, we are always seeking new modes of engaging wider publics, industries, artists and policymakers to help cultivate new possibilities for social and political intervention in these turbulent times.
