Go Green

Sustainability is important to the University and is embedded in our processes. One way colleagues can get involved is by joining the Go Green network and becoming a Go Green Champion. This is our university-wide programme that helps the University (and our colleagues) to reduce our impacts on the environment. You can find other ways to get involved on the Sustainability website or by emailing us at sustainability@open.ac.uk or gogreen@open.ac.uk for more information.

Travel

Information and advice are provided on travelling to University premises by different types of transport and University initiatives, such as the car sharing scheme.

Unions

UCU

If you are employed in an academic (including Associate Lecturer), Academic-Related, Research or Research Student role by The Open University, UCU is the Union for you.

Unison

Unison works in partnership with the Open University and UCU in negotiating Terms and Conditions, Agreements and Codes of Practice.

Open Learn

OpenLearn is the home of free learning from the Open University. The site contains over 950 courses, and over 10,000 articles, interactive activities, video and audio materials drawn from across the breadth of the OU’s curriculum. Around 10 million visitors will come to OpenLearn this year.

Future Learn

FutureLearn is a digital learning platform and develops Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in partnership with top Universities in the UK and around the world.

OU and Affiliated Clubs
