Insights into Methodological Approaches in Economic Research

Led by three experts who will offer insights into key aspects of their fields, this postgraduate workshop will cover a range of methodological approaches at the cutting edge of economic and social research. Its aim is to provide in-depth theoretical and empirical foundations of different approaches – including quantitative and qualitative research.

The workshop, which is organised by PhD students in the OU's Open Political Economy Group (OPEG) to run in conjunction with the ESRC seminar Inequality, Wages and Finance the day before, is free to attend. However, as places are limited, booking is essential. A limited number of travel bursaries are available for those also attending the ESRC seminar.
