On 24th May 2023 Dr Ece Kocabıçak, a Lecturer in Sociology at the Open University, was joined by Dr Anjana Thampi (University of Massachusetts Amherst) and Dr Irene Selwaness (Associate Professor at Cairo University) for this seminar.
Book editors Dr Charlotte Cross (Senior Lecturer in International Development at The Open University) and Dr John Giblin (Keeper of Global Arts, Cultures and Design at National Museums Scotland) were joined on the 10th May 2023 by a number of the books contributors for this launch event

Seife Ayele is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies, Brighton, UK. He joined us on 7 December 2022 for this seminar.
