Session Description: While all data underpinning research should be made open, in some cases there are legal and ethical barriers to doing so. This webinar looks at how to overcome the legal and ethical issues involved with sharing data.
Session objectives:
Understand copyright and intellectual property rights
Learn about options for licensing research data
Understand how to gain valid consent to share data
Find out how to understand permissions to re-use research data
Target audience: Postgraduate Research Students, Research Staff and Research Support Staff
