In this introductory session we will explain the use of qualitative methods to inform the scholarship of teaching and learning. We’ll focus specifically on the analysis and presentation of qualitative data, drawing upon examples from eSTEeM projects as well as the qualitative research literature. This session will involve a mix of presentation and discussion.

About the facilitator

Trevor Collins is a Senior Research Fellow in KMi and Deputy Director of eSTEeM. His research interests are in the design and use of technology to facilitate teaching and learning. He has extensive experience of mixed methods research, and research methods training and development.
