Virtual Skiddaw project secures funding from Innovate UK

The Open University has secured funding from Innovate UK for phase 2 of the 'Virtual Field Trips as a Service' initiative. The bid which was led by Daden Limited, takes the concepts developed as part of the Virtual Skiddaw project in 2013, and looks at how this could be scaled up to a national service for schools and universities.
