Impact Evaluation Tracking Tool

This section contains a variety of resources. These include not only items produced by eSTEeM but also other items which we think may be of interest to the higher education teaching community, including journal articles, presentations, websites and links to videos.

eSTEeM has adopted an Impact Evaluation Tracking Tool, which is based on the Impact Evaluation Framework (IEF) developed by Shailey Minocha, and consists of 13 impact criteria or facets. The IETT has been created to aid eSTEeM project teams with planning for impact when designing a SoTL inquiry, for evaluating the impact of a SoTL inquiry, and/or for guiding the collation of evidence when evaluating the impact of SoTL activity at the institution level. As new projects are inducted, project leaders are asked to complete the tool throughout the lifecycle of their project and to submit it alongside their final report. Project leaders are then required to update it annually, so eSTEeM can continue to track the ongoing and historical impact of their work.
