Re FASSTEST project:Implementing module team-led research skills-focused workshop events into a final year project module: An evaluation of student attitudes and outcomes.
Our experience of attending the Division of Academics, Researchers and Teachers in Psychology (DART-P) conference at Newcastle University was invaluable. It allowed us both to meet in person for the first time after working together for several years on the same module. Presenting at the conference also provided us with the opportunity to gain constructive feedback and suggestions for our scholarship project which is shaping some of our ongoing analysis as we enter the latter stages of the project. As an unexpected bonus, we both reunited with colleagues we had worked or studied with previously and hadn’t seen face to face for a long time. The discussions at the conference will hopefully lead to establishing further research connections. We appreciate the funding obtained from FASSTEST which allowed us to attend and disseminate our scholarship research and meet colleagues new and old.
