Richard Shirley Smith

Ten years ago, Practitioners' Voices in Classical Reception Studies published an interview with artist Richard Shirley Smith, whose paintings, wood engravings and large-scale murals have frequently engaged with the imagery and ideas of classical antiquity. Isobel Williams

Isobel Williams has written and illustrated The Supreme Court: A Guide for Bears (2017) and Catullus: Shibari Carmina (Carcanet, 2021). She has a chapter in Design in Legal Education (Routledge, 2022). Her translation of the whole of Catullus will be published in 2023.

Michael Ewans

Michael Ewans is Conjoint Professor of Drama at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He specialises in translating Greek tragedy and comedy, directing plays and chamber operas, and writing books and articles which explore how operas and dramas work in the theatre.
