Google Scholar Citations

This service from Google allows you to create an author profile to track citations of your published work.

It gathers this data based on your name and affiliations. You may have to do some initial checking that it has found all of your work and hasn’t included work that isn’t yours, particularly if you have a fairly common name.

Once set-up it will gather citation information and generate certain bibliometric scores for you, including a citation count and h-index (as defined in How do bibliometrics work?). Please remember that bibliometric scores can vary across platforms as they rely on the content indexed by the database making the calculation – your scores in Google Scholar may be higher than those in Scopus, for example, as Google Scholar indexes more sources.

You can make your author profile public or private. Find our more on the Google Scholar website.
