Centre for Scholarship and Innovation
This session will reflect on four years of reviewing STEM modules using the Inclusive Curriculum Tool. Using qualitative data from reflective journals, interviews and the reviews themselves, we will look back upon what we have learned about inclusion in STEM, and where we still see gaps. In particular, we will discuss the extent to which the Inclusive Curriculum Tool can help facilitate discussion around inclusion, and the limitations of such an approach.
Over recent years, updates to the C&C curriculum has seen new initiatives being introduced to upskill tutors in areas of cybersecurity. In this talk we will discuss the work that has been carried out during this initiative, an evaluation of the initiative and the subsequent impact it has had.
