What this lab helps me to achieve

• label molecule of interest and detect its localisation within a cell, tissue or a sample
• prepare radio-labelled samples and solutions

Who can use it

• only users that have been trained in safe handling and disposal of radioactive substances. Training courses are available twice yearly at the OU.
• all qualified STEM students, academics.

What instruments are there

• controlled and supervised areas for experiments involving radiochemical work
• beta scintillation and gamma counters
