College of Policing CPD week: How do I get started with CPD?

Welcome to the Centre for Policing Research and Learning with the Open University. In support of CPD week we have put together some ideas for you that might encourage you to undertake some free CPD with us at the Open University. Over the course of this week we will be introducing new ideas and suggestions to you each day, hoping that one or two of them will spark your imagination and interest and enthuse you to learn. We hope that you enjoy the opportunity to find out more!

Today you can watch a short video from both Ann and Paul from the CPRL. Ann suggests a specific piece of learning that might interest you, whereas Paul sets you a challenge.

Remember that there are a whole host of free courses relevant to policing listed here:

During CPD week change the way you think about learning and the way that you look at how other learn.  This short video introduces one of our open courses about "Tricky topics".
