Office of the Independent Adjudicator
The Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education operates an independent student complaints scheme and the service is free to students.

University and College Union
The UCU is the largest trade union and professional association for academics, lecturers, trainers, researchers and academic-related staff working in further and higher education throughout the UK.
Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Services (ACAS)
ACAS is an organisation that works with employers and employees to solve problems, including equality-related issues.
Government Equalities Office (GEO)
The GEO is responsible for equality strategy and legislation across government. They work to remove barriers to equality and lead on issues relating to women, sexual orientation and transgender equality.
Equality Challenge Unit (ECU)
The ECU works to further and support equality and diversity for staff and students in higher education across all four nations of the UK, and in colleges in Scotland.
Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC)
The EHRC promotes and monitors human rights and protects, enforces and promotes equality across the nine “protected” grounds – age, disability, gender, race, religion and belief, pregnancy and maternity, marriage and civil partnership, sexual orientation and gender reassignment.
Equality Commission for Northern Ireland (ECNI)
The EQNI is an independent public body which oversees equality and discrimination in Northern Ireland.
