FASSTEST is one of four Centres for Scholarship and Innovation that have been set up in each of the four faculties at The Open University.
The other three centres are:

All these four faculty-based centres are linked through a university-wide Scholarship Steering Group, whose work is informed and guided by the following four institutional priorities, which are to:
- Enable more students to achieve their study goals
- Enhance employability and career progression
- Improve and enhance the learning experience of students
- Promote equality, diversity and inclusion including reduction of degree awarding gap
