Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing

We are group of researchers in artificial intelligence, machine learning and natural language processing. We focus on algorithms for generating and understanding natural language as well as other forms of communication such as music and gestures. We apply machine learning to extract information from a wide variety of data, for instance, from astronomy and human behaviour.

The group is highly interdisciplinary, having a long history of collaboration with other disciplines from software engineering and cognitive science to musicology and astronomy.
