A valuable source of information for funding your postgraduate studies.
The OU Library subscribes to a funding database specifically for those looking for funding to support postgraduate studies, called The Alternative Guide to Postgraduate Funding Online. The database is updated monthly and contains over 600 alternative funding bodies which make postgraduate grants. There is the option to register for a personal account which enables you to use the two interactive tools which take you through the application process, personal statement assistant and personal grants manager. Within your personal account you can also manage and store all your grant applications.
The University subscribes to a comprehensive database called Research Professional which is accessible to all staff and students. This database also contains sources of funding for postgraduate studies and allows users to register and setup email alerts. In addition the system also provides up-to- date news on research, and policy development both nationally, at EU level and internationally. Research Professional offers monthly online training sessions.
For further information and to access both these databases please go to the funding opportunities page on the OU Library website.
