£26,642-£29,659

Permanent, 37 hours per week

Location: Based within our OU in Wales, Cardiff office, but operating a pattern of hybrid working

Additional information: Some expectation of travel within the UK when required

Welsh language: For this the role the ability to communicate in the medium of Welsh is desirable

About the role

We are looking for a Content Creator to help raise brand awareness by connecting with targeted audiences through the production of creative, interesting, and eye-catching digital content.

Working with colleagues in Wales and throughout the university, this is an integral position within marketing and communications to champion the priorities and mission of the Open University in Wales. We are looking for candidates that have exemplary skills to deliver high quality, engaging content for our online campaigns, websites, OpenLearn platform and social media profiles.

Skills and experience

Do you have a track record of successfully creating and editing digital content including webpages, graphics and audio/video?

Have you successfully raised awareness of a brand to multiple audiences with your engaging content?

Are you a creative thinker, willing to proactively contribute new ideas?

Our office is in the heart of Cardiff’s vibrant City Centre. We’re on Custom House Street, opposite John Lewis and the Marriot hotel. We’re only a 5-minute walk away from Cardiff Central train station, and there are many bus routes into Cardiff city centre that lead to our office.
