Session description: 

Your research data are precious and should be looked after properly. This webinar looks at strategies for managing your research data to ensure it remains usable throughout your research project and beyond.  

  

Session objectives:  

  • Know why good research data management is important  
  • Understand the data lifecycle 
  • Learn about the OU, funder and publisher policies for research data management 
  • Develop strategies for organising, naming, and storing your files  

  

Target audience:  

Postgraduate Research Students, Research Staff and Research Support Staff.
