Session description:  

Data Management Plans are a requirement of funding bids but are also necessary for any project which involves creating, collecting or using data.  

Session objectives: 

  • Know what a Data Management Plan is, and why it is important to write one
  • Find out what to include in your Data Management Plan 
  • Learn about online tools for writing a Data Management Plan 
  • See some examples of good practice  

  

Target audience:   

Postgraduate Research Students, Research Staff and Research Support Staff
