The majority of the Library’s collection of books, journals and other research material is available online through Library Search and the list of research databases. There are research guides by subject area and type of material. For information on finding eBooks, eJournals and other resources for your study, check the Library Resources page.
There may be times during your studies when it would be beneficial to visit another academic library that is located near to you. The Library is a member of the SCONUL access scheme, which allows students to use the collections of other academic libraries. Most UK university libraries participate in the scheme and you are welcome to apply to become a SCONUL member to use this resource.
The Library provides support for making research materials accessible at a distance by providing guidance on searching databases, as well as access to SensusAccess, which converts inaccessible files into different formats.
