OU Cycling Club
The Open University Cycling Club was formed in 2015 by a group of OU staff and friends who cycled regularly together from the OU campus in Milton Keynes. We have since broadened to include members from across the UK and with interests in all sorts of cycling; including commuting, leisure rides, sportives, mountain biking, cyclocross, road racing, bikepacking, touring, duathlon and time trials. We still meet regularly for training and social group rides (Milton Keynes area), and we ride all year round.
Our activities are mainly based around the OU's Walton Hall campus, but the OU is a nationwide organisation and we welcome members from any part of the UK. We are an open club; OU staff, students, friends and family are welcome but no specific link to the OU is required if you would like to join us. At the time of writing membership is still only £6 per year which helps cover some of our admin costs.
