Delali Badasu was until recently, director for the Centre for Migration Studies at the University of Ghana. Her research centres on migration and development, with a specific focus on remittances and child migration. Delali brings a lot of experience to the MIAG team, having been the principal investigator (PI) for a research project that was looking at the contribution of immigrants to the economy of Ghana, co-funded and jointly implemented by the European Union, the International Labour Office (ILO) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Development. She also helped to develop a data guide for Ghana under the Euro-African Dialogue on Migration and Development project and is currently leading a team of consultants to develop a diaspora engagement policy for Ghana.
