Co-investigator on the CONSERT instrument
Iwan Williams is now Emeritus Professor at Queen Mary University of London. Since the 1970’s he has been interested in modeling meteor streams so as to better understand the structure of comets. In 1985, with the apparition of comet Halley, an observational program on comets was also started and Iwan became a Co Investigator on the CONSERT experiment decades ago when the Rosetta mission was first proposed.
