Machine Learning for Medical, Cognitive and Behavioural Data Analysis

This theme focuses on analysing medical, cognitive, and behavioural data using various models, including supervised and unsupervised machine learning, deep learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP). An example of the work under this theme concerns use of dementia and Alzheimer's data to detect early signs of cognitive decline before mild symptoms manifest. There is also an ongoing collaboration with the Faculty of Art and Social Science to identify patterns of individual behavioural violence using intelligent modelling techniques.
