Travel Advice

Travel Advice help both staff and visitors, the team can provide information and advice on travelling to University premises by different types of transport and University initiatives for example, greener travel. 

To encourage greener travel the campus has a Journey Share scheme, not only is this for car share but also for people if they wish to find a travel companion whether you use the bus, train, taxi, walk or cycle. Please speak to the travel advice team at travel-advice@open.ac.uk for more information on the scheme. There are busses that stop at the campus bus stops, for more infomation and a time table please visit the bus services page.

We have a range of bike sheds across campus with e-charging facilities. The e-charging facilities are in the Geoffrey Crowther bike shed, charging batteries anywhere else on site is strictly prohibited. Access to the bike sheds is available through your ID cards. E-scooters are not permitted on site.

Travel Advice run an electric vehicle charging scheme if you wish to charge an electric vehicle on campus. The charging scheme allows for you to use these charging bays by joining the membership scheme.
